Chris Stapleton is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer, born on April 15, 1978, in Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in the small town of Staffordsville, Kentucky. He is best known for his blend of Southern rock, blues, and country music, and his powerful and soulful voice, skillful songwriting, and guitar playing. Stapleton moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2001 to pursue his career in music, and he signed a contract with Sea Gayle Music to write and publish his music. He has released several albums, including Traveller (2015), From A Room: Volume 1 (2017), and Starting Over (2020), among others. He has won several awards, including five Grammy Awards, seven Academy of Country Music Awards, and ten Country Music Association Awards. Stapleton is married to Morgane Stapleton and the couple have five children together.
